What To Do If You Have An Emergency

We use separate out of hours hospitals in Manchester (for Wigan) and Dewsbury (for Huddersfield) and our calls are diverted to these after 7pm. Both of these hospitals have dedicated vets and nurses that only work at night which means that they are available to tend to you and your pets needs.
This enables our day-shift vets are able to give you the quality 'wide-awake' service your pet deserves

If your pet falls ill or has an accident it can be very upsetting and stressful. Don’t panic. Regardless of what time you need Veterinary care an expert is always on the end of the phone.
To make it as easy to remember as possible for our customers we only have one phone number that will put you through to expert care 24 hours a day.
The practice is closed during the hours of:
7pm- 8am, Monday to Friday,
and 5pm Saturday to 8am Monday
When the practice is closed you still call the same number if you have an emergency. Your call will be diverted to Pet Medics, the specialist emergency centre, with Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses who are specially trained in accident and emergency care.
This new service is designed to improve the quality of care we can offer our clients on a 24 hour basis. Staff at Pet Medics over night centre are employed especially to work night shifts and will not be exhausted after just completing a full days work.
If your pet has an ongoing illness that has been treated at Anrich previously, and you require emergency care out of hours don’t worry. Pet Medics can contact an Anrich Veterinary Surgeon 24 hours a day to get access to your pet’s medical notes.
If your pet is treated at Anrich Hospital during normal practice hours, and requires an overnight stay, your pet will not be left unattended. In these circumstances a Vet or Nurse will work night duty at Anrich to ensure your pet is properly looked after.
