Consulting Rooms
Consulting Rooms 1 & 2
The vet consulting rooms have remained much as before but with the addition of compterised records.
Computerization allows much faster and more accurate record keeping, pricing and label printing.
It means that clients will have a very stable pricing structure that is not changed by the whims of a staff member.

It was a very traumatic and difficult time in the first six months of computerization, with technical problems as well as the reluctance of staff and clients to “change”. But I think most will now find the effort was worth while and of benefit to clients and the practice alike.
Our “virtual vet” in consult 1 allows the vets and clients to get the benefit of 30 years of Richard Weston’s experience, whether he is in Huddersfield or not.
Consulting Room 3
This room has been modified from its original use as just a consult room. Shelves have been added to expand the reception areas shelving to increase the level and range of stock we can hold in the practice for shop type goods.
A fold away table is present to allow nurses to use this room for discharging pets post operatively and doing special nurse clinics.
Most of the time, though clients will be able to enter this room to browse shop products.
