Phase 2 of the development was completed in March 2000 . This was the 700 square foot dog grooming unit. It started out as a part time venture and gradually increased to employing a full time groomer in November 2000. Dog Grooming at Anrich is a separate but complimentary business to the Hospital. In 2002 it needed a second groomer and in 2003 our City and Guilds trained groomer joined the business and set up our teaching facility.
Phase 3, the Hydrotherapy Pool, opened in July 2001. The pool room is 5mx3.5m and houses a 10’x5’x4’ hydrotherapy pool. A hot spa is also installed. An hydraulic hoist, facilitates the management of dogs into and within the pool. A 3.2m corner window allows the public to view cases in action. The Hospital also runs training sessions for other hydrotherapists which started in 2002.
Phase 4, which was completed in 2002 is the education centre, with a reception, a 100 seat tiered multimedia lecture theatre, a 50 seat flat conference room and an IT room. This centre is a separate business, Anrich Education.
Phase 5 is the teaching operating theatre with viewing gallery. This was completed in 2005 and the first public operation was performed on our Open Day in February.
Phase 6 is an MRI scanner. The scanner should be installed by and operational by August 2005. This facility will be offered, not only to pets but to humans also. It will be substantially cheaper that the nearest scans available 50 miles away.

One Vet flat
One night nurse bedsit
100 seater tiered lecture theatre
50 seater flat variable layout lecture theatre
Coffee corner
Library/staff room
Dog Grooming for capacity of up to four groomers
