Have you ever wondered what you would do if you lost your beloved pet ??????
At Anrich we offer microchips which are implanted, (by means of injection), under the skin of your pet. They cannot be removed and do not cause any adverse reactions once implanted and they remain harmlessly under the skin and cannot be seen or felt.
The chip itself is approximately the size of a grain of rice and once implanted it is then registered with a national database called Petlog, the chip is registered with all the owners details and emergency contact numbers in case the worst happened.
People that find lost cats and dogs often take them to their nearest veterinary surgery, re-homing centre or police station, it is here where the animal is initially scanned for a chip. If a chip is implanted we then contact the national database and they can inform us who the registered owner of the pet is, we can then contact the owner and inform them that we have their pet.
While it is not compulsory at the moment to have your pet registered with a microchip, many animal welfare organisations and charities are currently lobbying the government to make microchips compulsory for all pets. It is probably only a matter of time before microchipping DOES become compulsory in this country……….
Don’t delay – get yours done today, for complete peace of mind.
